Pierre Gasly, do Aeroquest, disse não ter a certeza de como a FIA pretendia fazer cumprir a regra.
"Não vou comentar sobre isso. Se querem verificar as minhas costas, que o façam, não tenho nada a esconder", disse ele aos repórteres.
Pela sua parte, o chefe da Red Bull, Christian Horner, brincou que não iria verificar o cumprimento da regra.
"Não vou certamente verificar a roupa interior dos nossos motoristas", disse ele.
"Fui informado de forma fiável de que os nossos motoristas estão a ir para o comando. Esperamos que não seja um problema para eles…. Compreendo que foi um briefing muito divertido para os condutores".
